Testing Method
1) Prepare contaminated water with a bacterial count of (1~9) X 10^4 CFU/mL.
2) Inject contaminated water into the mat and run for 4 hours, then measure the bacterial count.
3) Conduct 4 types of tests (28°C E. coli / Staphylococcus) (48°C E. coli / Staphylococcus)
Results
1) At 28°C E. coli: Control group 4.9 x 10^4 CFU/mL, test group < 10CFU/mL.
Staphylococcus: Control group 6.8 x 10^4 CFU/mL, test group < 10CFU/mL.
2) At 48°C E. coli: Control group 2.9 x 10^4 CFU/mL, test group < 10CFU/mL.
Staphylococcus: Control group 3.0 x 10^4 CFU/mL, test group < 10CFU/mL.
Conclusion
All four tests showed 99.9% sterilization compared to the control group (initial).
